RAKALA

The second of two Ncxons that technically doesn't exist. 

Rakala lies in an extremely swampy part of Oleria and covers approximately 28,000 square miles (roughly the size of Ireland).  The area is rich in dangerous species similar to vipers, alligators, deadly spiders, and mosquitoes (with their associated diseases).  This diversity of life has generally detoured most human desire for any particular resources that might lie within.  Interestingly, the Rakaxan (a humanoid lizard race that resembles salamanders) have proven to be generally immune to the dangers of the area and are left to claim it as their own.  The Rakaxan have created a small civilization that has little interaction with races outside of their swamp and have slowly become more of a legend than a reality.  It is rumored that there may be as many as a million Rakaxan, but few believe that number to be accurate, or else others would certainly have had more interaction with the elusive race, right?

The Champion serves as the Head of the Legislative Branch and the chief executor.  While the Champion is the Head of the Legislator, they are only allowed to vote in the case of a tie.

Thello Katsokos currently serves as the Champion.

Rakaxan society is segmented into 12 classes, each of which represents a variety of similar occupations.  The Legislature is composed of 12 individuals, one for each of the classes

Each month, Rakaxan Society celebrates one  the twelve classes, with competitions to show-off the skills of its members, culminating in a final competition between the best of the best (usually after a month long sports style tournament).  The Victor of the competition assumes the representative position in the Legislator at the end of the following month and for the next year.
